I can’t understand

She let go of my hand

An’ left me here facing the wall

Why she did go

But I can’t get close t’ her at all

Though we kissed through the wild blazing nighttime

She said she would never forget

But now mornin’s clear

She just acts like we never have met

Like some mystery

It could even be like a myth

我无法理解

我真的很想知道

而我完全不可能再接近她

虽然我们在狂野的燃情之夜亲吻过

她说她永远不会忘记

但是此刻早晨明彻

好像我不在此处

她表现得就像我们从不相识

这一切于我而言都是新的

像某种谜

甚至像一个神话

但还是难以想象

她是那昨夜和我

在一起的，同一个人

从黑暗中，梦被遗弃

而我还在做梦？

我希望她能来解开

她的嗓音一次，说说话

而不是表现得像我们从不相识

假若她感觉不佳

她为什么不告诉我

而要背对着我的脸？

毫无疑问

她走得似乎太远

我已无法让她回心转意

虽然那个夜晚地转天旋

我依然记得她的耳语

但是显然她不记得

显然她不会记得

她表现得就像我们从不相识

假若我不是一定要去猜测

那么我很乐意去忏悔

对我可能犯下的每一件事

是否我跟她在一起太久

或者做了什么错事

我希望她能告诉我，然后我将避开

虽然她的裙裾摇曳如吉他弹奏

她的嘴湿润又多汁

但是现在事情变了

她已不似从前

她表现得就像我们从不相识

今天我就要离去

就要走上我的路

对此我不能说太多

但如果你要我说

我会变得像你一样

假装我们从未有过接触

而若有人问我

“遗忘是否容易？”

我会说：“轻而易举

你只要选一个人

然后假装你们从不相识！”
